COIL STOCK STRAIGHTENERS

ROLLS ARE ONE-PIECE HARDENED AND GROUND

A new line of high performance coil stock straighteners that feature 11 one-piece hardened and ground 3" dia. rolls, including entry and exit pinch rolls, and a selection of 3 to 10 HP motors is being introduced by Waddington Electronics, Inc. of Cranston, Rhode Island.

Waddington PMSS Series Coil Stock Straighteners are powered by a 3 to 10 HP DC regenerative drive system, depending upon size, and feature 11 one-piece hardened and ground 3" dia. rolls, including 7 powered lower straightening rolls, plus entry, and exit pinch rolls. Compatible with servo-driven roll feeds, they have quick-release pinch rolls for easy threading, individually adjustable pinch roll pressure, and three dial indicators.

Equipped with SONA-TROL ® non-contacting loop controls, Waddington PMSS Series Coil Stock Straighteners provide forward, reverse, and remote jog via push-buttons on a NEMA 12 enclosure connected by a coil cord. It has a double #50 chain drive system and can operate at speeds up to 200 FPM. Maximum stock width is 12" with .156" stock thickness at full width.
