CUT STRIP FEEDERSPEEDS PUNCHING PROCESS04-05-00 A new cut strip feeder consisting of push and pull feeds that are fully integrated with a punch press to speed the cut strip punching process is being introduced by Waddington Electronics, Inc. of Cranston, Rhode Island. The Model CSF Cut Strip Feeder features a push feed with sensors that locate the leading edge of the strip, position it in a die for punching, and then eject it by the pull feed while the push feed prepares for the next strip. Designed to be interlocked with automated strip feeders, or run manually, it is capable of up to 300 strokes-per-minute operation. A true servo-based stock positioning system with closed-loop brushless resolver feedback, the Model CSF Cut Strip Feeder assures quick and accurate progressions and computerized controls for instantaneous setup. Standard feed accuracy is +.002" with +.001" optional and they are available in sizes up to 48" wide for strip thicknesses from .002" to .250".
